Fort Friendship Day Camp at Camp Carpenter sits right in Manchester, but once you enter those wooded acres, it feels like a whole new world. With a private swimming lake, modern dining hall, and multiple program areas designed for younger campers, kids get a true outdoor camp week without the long journey.

A Day Camp with 230+ Acres to Explore

From swimming and boating to forest exploration and themed events, every day feels like an adventure. Our Day Camp program is designed to provide all children in Grades 1 through 5 with exciting opportunities to take advantage of the great outdoors.

A new year means a new theme! Every year, we refresh our camp theme, so returning campers will always find something new and exciting at Camp Carpenter. Themes tie activities together with games, crafts, and camp wide moments that make kids feel part of something bigger.

A Week That Feels Busy in the Best Way

Fort Friendship Day Camp runs Mondays through Fridays from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM, with aftercare available until 5:00 PM for added flexibility.

The Adventure Begins

Fort Friendship Day Camp at Camp Carpenter is operated by Scouting America New Hampshire. Our highly trained staff follows proven safety procedures and program standards built over decades of youth camping.

Safety Standards Designed for Young Campers

For many of our campers, Fort Friendship is their first experience attending a summer camp. Our programs were built with this in mind, with safety precautions created specifically to protect new and young campers ages 5 to 11.
